Inspired by the vast horizons of the North, Horizon d'Hiver captures the moment when a snowy owl crosses the sky in the silence of the day's final light. Its wings, extending from one end of the sculpture to the other, evoke a smooth and effortless glide, carried by the unseen currents that precede the night.
The subtle tones of pale green, silver-grey, and ivory found within the stone recall the shifting reflections of snow beneath a winter sky, when the light lingers at the horizon before fading away.
