Courant Boréal
Courant Boréal is an original sculpture from the Les Harfangs series and is part of the Collection Boréale.
A luminous vein flows through the stone from wingtip to wingtip, like a silent current moving across the vast northern wilderness. The subtle tones of pale green, silver-grey, and mineral black create a natural landscape reminiscent of rivers, forests, and open spaces shaped by the changing seasons of the North.
The elongated silhouette of the snowy owl evokes a smooth and continuous flight, carried by the winds that sweep across tundra and boreal lakes. Its outstretched wings appear to follow an invisible path, guided by the great forces of nature rather than by effort.
The unique patterns within the stone create a striking contrast between darker areas and the pale vein that runs through the sculpture. This natural light becomes the focal point of the piece, like a thread connecting sky, earth, and bird in a single movement.
This sculpture celebrates the quiet strength of boreal landscapes and the freedom of the snowy owl as it travels across them without boundaries.
