Collection Boréale
Lueur du Nord
Lueur du Nord
Lueur du Nord is an original sculpture from the Les Harfangs series and is part of the Collection Boréale.
A luminous band naturally flows through the stone like a ray of light emerging along a northern horizon. Amid shades of grey, soft green, and mineral black, this pale vein evokes boreal landscapes when sunlight breaks through the clouds after a long period of cold and silence.
Its broad, outstretched wings convey a stable and confident flight. The silhouette of the snowy owl appears carried by the great air currents that sweep across northern forests and tundra, moving with effortless elegance above a vast and unspoiled land.
The stone’s natural mineral variations recall the contours of lakes, rugged terrain, and the wild expanses that define boreal landscapes. The light running through the sculpture creates a subtle contrast between strength and lightness, giving the bird a presence that is both calm and majestic.
This sculpture celebrates the radiant beauty of the North and the freedom of the snowy owl, a silent traveler of the great wilderness.
