Silence Arctique is an original sculpture from the Les Harfangs series and is part of the Collection Nuit.
Beneath the subtle glow of the long northern nights, the snowy owl crosses vast snow-covered landscapes in near-perfect silence. Silence Arctique captures that fleeting moment when the bird seems to merge with its surroundings, leaving behind only an impression of movement and presence.
The deep tones of dark green, silver-grey, and mineral black found within the stone evoke the shifting shadows that sweep across the snow under moonlight. The natural variations of the material recall the subtle contours of a land shaped by wind, cold, and time.
The low, elongated silhouette enhances the sense of fluidity. Its wings, stretched in an almost perfectly horizontal line, suggest a controlled, silent, and precise flight characteristic of a predator that knows every contour of its domain.
