Traversée Nocturne is an original sculpture from the Les Harfangs series and is part of the Collection Nuit.
Across the vast northern wilderness, some journeys unfold far from sight. Traversée Nocturne evokes a snowy owl continuing its path through the night, carried by unseen currents that connect snow-covered horizons beneath the light of the stars.
The rich tones of dark green, silver-grey, and mineral black naturally present in the stone recall boreal landscapes immersed in twilight. The natural variations within the material evoke nocturnal clouds drifting slowly across the sky, while lighter areas suggest the subtle reflections of moonlight on snow.
Its broad, outstretched wings convey a sense of fluid and controlled movement. The elongated silhouette appears to glide effortlessly through the darkness, crossing the great distances that define the wild northern landscape. Suspended between earth and sky, the snowy owl becomes a symbol of travel, freedom, and the call of distant horizons.
